Amore Magazine

Amore Magazine: V Factory is not a boy band. What they are is five highly talented guys from various parts of America assembled by former teen heart throb Tommy Page that will soon be stealing the hearts of every teenage girl from coast to coast.

V Factory has already cracked the Top 40 with their debut single "Love Struck" from their EP "These Are The Days." Now V Factory will release their yet untitled debut album later this year from Warner Bros. Records and soon to be on tour with Kelly Clarkson. Amore Magazine got the chance to an exclusive interview with V Factory's lead singer, Asher Book.

Book is multi-talented and having performed for two and a half years as 'Chip the Teacup' in the theatrical version of Disney's Beauty and the Beast on its U.S. on tour.

Book has recently been cast in the reinvention of the 1980 Oscar-winning motion picture Fame (MGM), which hits theaters in September 2009. He will be playing the role of Marco, a charismatic singer from a working class Italian-American family whose vocal skill is matched by his prowess with the opposite sex.

The present for Book would be nothing without his past credits that include the ABC Family original movie, Pop Rocks, Nickelodeon’s Zoey 101, and the feature film, Come Away Home.

In a press release sent to Amore Magazine, Book states,

“I get to be on stage and perform and do what I love every day. Why wouldn’t you want to be doing that?” he says with a laugh. “And the fact that I get to do it with these four guys, who are all really fun and lighthearted, is just awesome. Wesley and I are roommates, and we’re probably the most alike. We both like to live in the moment.”

Other band members include Jared Murillo (High School Musical,) Wesley Quinn, Nick Teti, and Nathaniel Flatt.

What you get from Book is a hard working singer/dancer/actor who is taking his new fame one day at a time.
